This weekend I did some baking & my little helper helped me.. We made shortbread cookies (:( not so tasty), chocolate covered prezels & chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake bars! Mollie likes to sit on the counter with me &take all the mixing spoons out of the spoon holder and stick them in whatever I am making.

i finished wrapping a few more gifts the other day while mollie was napping and when she came down and saw that i rearranged them she was all over removing their bows.

i guess i was bothering her because she took her laptop to the bathroom, put it on the toilet & shut both of the bathroom doors... I opened the door and she gave me this look like do you mind??
and while wrapping our gifts for nick today, my little elf wanted the labels because they were like stickers so she would point to them all and put them on herself!
She's our present this year!

I saw this on another blog and thought it was pretty interesting especially since everything is on facebook these days.. ha
Tuesday night after mollie went to bed I caught up on wrapping a most of our gifts! I did a lot of online shopping the monday after thanksgiving so I have been receiving packages and it all started to pile up so i needed to get it all wrapped. The next morning when mollie got up and she came downstairs she saw the presents in the corner and the mickey mouse wrapping paper and she went crazy..
"mi mou, mi mou" she kept saying it over and over and over.. then she tried to pick up the huge heavy boxes and carry them away. it was too cute!
and we finally got mollie an new car seat for nick's car. she got a big girl carseat for my car for her birthday but she was still riding in the infant seat in nick's car and she really needed a new one. she loves it! we just need to install it in nick's car now. ha

Last year when mollie was in the hospital, actually a year ago today.. we had a 5 day stay... well she received gifts on 3 of those days from people.. ofcourse she was only 2 1/2 months old and couldn't play with toys it was nice to know that people where donating and giving to those children on that hospital floor who most of them probably had to spend christmas there. we were lucky and got out a day early a few days before christmas! We have always wanted to go back and give to the children on the floor but have not gotten a chance, so I bought some chrismas gingerbread notepads and some reindeer stuff animals and some cookies for the nurses and we took them today to deliver them! We wanted to pass out the stuff but apparently you have to go with a person in charge of that type of thing and she was already taking around another group that was giving gifts. So we just gave her the stuff to give when she had time. She said that people start calling in OCTOBER to book a time to come.. shocking but great they have that many people wanting to give to others! We hope the children like our gifts!
and it is officially christmas vacations!!! yay!!!!!!
Sunday was our last day... boo :( we were suppose to stay until Monday but I was already out of "sick" days due to lovely daycare &our puddin pop get many ear infections and colds...
On our last day we went to Hollywood studios... it was still freezing and at the end of the day before we left it began to rain and then it was really freezing!
This was mollie on the back lot tour ride & nick let her sit on the front of the car not his lap... I see where she gets her michevious behaviors from!

So because our little love bug loves waking up around 6 am every morning, we actually were able to meet the ramos' on time! It was a miracle-cause usually that never happens. We always lag behind and "meet up with them".
It was freezing! in the 40's mollie was all snuggled up in her winter clothes & I changed her into her fleece pants a while after we were in the park to make sure she was warm!

grandma & grandpa gave mollie this warm, soft coat while we were at their house on friday night! Thank god because we didn't really pack a thick coat and it was freezing and we sure did need it!
