mia kate you are four months old….really?! sometimes it seems like you have been around so much longer than four months… we all just love you so much!
you “talk” a ton now…. I think you are definitely going to be a talker like your sister! every morning when you wake up are just “talking away”! lots of ahhhhhhhh, ahhhhhhh, ahhhhhhh!
sleep… oh sleep, lets see when you were three months old you got into a bad pattern of waking up a ton after midnight…sometimes every hour! we were not a fan of that at all. then I heard about this “miracle blanket” & everyone that I heard about it from said that their baby went from not sleeping good like you & then would sleep all night once they started using the miracle blanket. I was all for it & lugged the girls to babies r us & got one & the first night we used it you slept til 5am got up to eat & went back to sleep! I couldn’t believe it & thought it had to be a fluke but the second night you woke once again around 4am & ate & went back to sleep! also, I decided to lay you flat in your pnp & do away with the lamb seat, since we were using the miracle blanket which is basically a swaddle but it was working.
unfortunately it worked good for about two weeks & now you are waking up at 1am & 3 or 4 am to eat again….
you are still eating the same 4 ounces around every two or three hours, we are going to start giving you cereal or oatmeal to see if that helps you with sleeping better!!!
you are becoming such a happy little girl, who smiles so big when we start talking to you! I started giving you & your sister baths together at night at that is pretty amusing… especially since mollie is such a wild girl!
the other night mollie was jumping off her stool, onto a pillow & falling on the couch & she kept doing it over and over again & you were following her with your eyes & your head & laughing every time she fell on the couch! it was so cute!!
