oh what fun it is…

we visited santa’s winter wonderland at bass pro shop & got a family picture taken with santa…

mollie & mia made “reindeer food” to put out on christmas eve for santa’s reindeer!

mollie & mia put coins in their “jesus box” according to mollie, to turn in to church for jesus’ birthday

mollie learned you can yell into a wrapping paper tube… oh, boy, the girl loves noise!

mollie constantly looked for the gold jingle bells on our christmas tree so she could jingle them!

I made mollie a christmas tree sandwich

mia could be crying & crying & as soon as we open up her outfit to show her belly, she started smiling!silly girl!

all the christmas cookies, mollie & I made together! we would stay up late & bake cookies when nick would get home from work.

mollie fights her naps most of the time now but sitll has to “rest” in her crib each day whether she naps or not.  this day she decided not to sleep :)

mollie’s florida snowman…

while mia was fast asleep napping in her swing mollie & I worked on a florida snowman! I had seen this online & had been wanting to do it with her but everyday life has been crazy busy, that we never got time until the middle of december to make it.  mollie loved using the glue for the first time & shaking a lot of “snow” {glitter} on the snowballs!

it took me forever to get her to hold it & take a picture because she kept telling us that “it too big” “it to hebby”! I think it turned out super cute!

Traditions…

{Hoffman’s Chocolate}

we took a trip to Hoffman’s Chocolate with the girls to see the christmas lights & to get some delicious chocolate!

it was a chilly night so we covered mia up with a blankie & she was fast asleep the whole time…

mollie on the other hand, was loving the lights!!! I asked her to stand in front of the snowman so that I could take her picture & then she had to have her picture taken in front of all the displays & lights! she cracks us up! she kept standing in front of them saying “cheeseburger”

we had a great time… we use to go see the lights at hoffman’s chocolate every year when I was growing up & it is fun to carry on the tradition with mollie & mia!

{Chocolate Advent Calendar}

last year gamma mailed mollie a chocolate advent calendar & even though she was just one she still loved it! so when elfie came this year he brought her a special one all the way from santa’s workshop!

mollie enjoyed eating all the chocolates every day & might have finished them all before christmas!

it’s fun to do these traditions with mollie & we are excited for mia to take part in them next christmas!!

I have made one of these every year for mollie for christmas, although she has been too young to understand it, kinda like mia this year, but it is fun to start traditions with the girls each year!  This year mollie had fun pulling off a link each night… when we remembered. ha
