♥ Thankful on Thursday

It has been a LONG week, Mollie has been sick since last weekend with her 1st big cold/ear infection.  She has had a runny nose that just won't stop running & a fever that comes & goes that has kept her out of school almost everyday this week. :( And not only is she sick, but since we love to kiss & cuddle that sweet face, both Nick & I got her lovely cold.  And when your sick all you want to do is sleep, but thats not possible with a sick baby who's nose is so stuffed up that you can hear her snoring outside her room.    Luckily & hopefully it will all be gone by her birthday & birthday party next weekend!! :) Yay!

So, on to "Thankful on Thursday" because even though it was a long & tiring week, we still have lots to be thankful for! 

I am thankful that finally after almost a month of Mollie being in daycare that I feel ok with her being their & I dont worry about her all day long. It's probably because I have the schools video camera on my computer at work all day long like it is my screensaver but,  I know that her teacher is wonderful & that she is starting to play & even take toys from the boys and run away from them.  I think soon she might even have friends. ha ha  And next Friday she's taking cupcakes in for her birthday because yes they even do that in a 1 yr old class.  And ps.. aparently she has already tasted cupcakes because we say pictures of her eating cupcakes during another little girls birthday at school a few weeks ago. ha ha

Thankful that this little devil although she got us sick, seems to be getting better ! Although at the beginning she loved taking medicine but now it is a wrestle. ha ha

Thankful that she just cracks us up & makes us smile when she pretends to talk on the phone or she dances or waves to Mickey Mouse on tv when her tv show starts or when she runs around with Lady's toy and she laughes so hard while she's doing it!

Most of all we are thankful that tomorrow is FRIDAY!!

Happy Grandparents Day from Mollie!

Mollie made an adorable card in school today for her grandparents for Grandparents Day, but since she has a lot of Grandparents I took a picture of it & her holding it & made this video so you all could see it.  You also have some cards on the way that she colored herself! :)

Mollie & me were playing with her tea set this past weekend & I taught her how to drink out of the cup.  It was so cute & funny!

An afternoon at the beach

Sunday we took Mollie to the beach after her afternoon nap.  Usually we go to the park sometimes after her afternoon nap before dinner, but I wanted to see what she would do in the beach sand.  So, we took her to the beach.  At first she acted like she does in the grass, FROZE & ran for our laps so she wouldn't have to stand in it. :) ha ha. Then after a bit she seemed ok with it

YAY! Football time is here!  That also means that is time for Fall, pumpkins, and all kinds of good stuff! Here is our little Seminole Cheerleader today all ready for game day!

Ahhh a long weekend!

This weekend is a LONG weekend a I am so excited! Mollie I think is excited too, because since she started school she has been sleeping in on the weekends til 9am!! We have been crazy busy! I practically run out of school at 2:57 to go pick up our baby from school except on the days that Nick is off! When he is off he takes her into school at their normal time & picks her up after lunch.  We take her in even on her days off so she can work on getting more comfortable with it & sticking to a routine!  Back to what I was saying, I pick her up at 3:15 by time we get home she has a little snack and is ready for a nap. She naps from like 4:00 to 5:30 & gets up for dinner & then a bath a little play time and she is ready for bed by 6:30 or 7:00.  And thank goodness she has started sleeping through the night again. She stopped sleeping through the night at 6 months and it has been a long 5 months... :/ She is gettting so much better at school she is playing with toys & just cries a bit when we drop her off.

(Note: the headband that totally doesn't match the outfit is the headband that I bought her for her birthday party that she RIPS off everytime I put it on her! I am determined to get her to like it! I dont know what it is about it but she isn't too fond of this headband!)

And now she snuggles stuffed animals, along with her momma and daddy too. The great thing about starting daycare... I am not sure if there is any correlation, but Mollie cuddles & snuggles up to us all the time now & we love it!!

No, this is not a "blinking picture", this is the silly face that Mollie makes all the time now.  It cracks us up! Usually when she does it she throws her head back & also scrunches up her nose!! So cute!

Last, I will leave you with a video of Mollie finishing up dinner one night this week.  We by no means have a picky eater on our hands.  In fact, I think we have a little piggy on our hands!! She eats so fast at times it's kinda funny!  Here is a video of her eating her oranges that she loves!
