♥Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas!♥

We had a WONDERFUL 1st Christmas as a family!! We went to visit Gramma &Grampa & had a great time! Mollie met her Great Grandma & Great Grandpa! Plus we had a cold Christmas. That doesn't happen in Florida! We left cookies out for Santa & Mollie loved ALL her Christmas gifts! Especially the ones that make noise! :)Here are a bunch of pictures from our 1st Christmas!

♥1st Trip to the Hospital :(♥

So, Mollie & Me were hanging out at the house last Thursday night. She was as happy as could be! I was reading her lots of Christmas books & then I picked her up to take her to rock her to bed when I felt her head & it was very hot! So I layed her down to take her temperature & then all of a sudden she started gagging & threw up & then when I took her temperature it was 100.5. So I called the pediatrician because she told us at her last appointments that if 100.4 I have to call & we will have to take her to the er. Well..... that's what happen. The dr. sent me to the er with Mollie. She had to get a catheter, and an iv. After waiting 4 hours in the ER they told me that she had an UTI. Poor baby. UTI for babies Mollie's age means a 5 day hospital stay so that she can get 5 days of antibiotics by iv. So we were in the hospital from Thursday night until Tuesday morning. Three different groups went around the pediatric hospital and handed out Christmas gifts to the children in the hospital. It was really nice! She got a toy truck, a Santa Clause & a bear from Build a Bear. We will be going back to give gifts to the sick kids one day, becuase it is nice & should not just be done at Christmas! :) The hospital pediatrician let us out a day early so that we could go out of town for Christmas. We are so happy that she is all better!! Here are a few pictures of our hospital visit.

♥Our 1st Family Vacation!♥

We are back from our 1st family vacation! We had a great time at Disney and have many pictures to share.... Mollie went on her 1st vacation, saw the Osborne Family Lights at Hollywood Studios, went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, met her 1st character (The Fairy God Mother from Cinderella) &rode her 1st ride at Disney Buzz LightYear & Winnie the Pooh ride.

♥Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...♥

We went last Sunday to pick out our Christmas tree... Well.. we got there just as they were closing & there was 3 trees to choose from... So we got out Grinch-like tree & went home & decorated it. It didn't look SO bad when we were at the tree lot but when we got home we noticed that it looks like there is a whole middle section of branches missing. Poor Molls 1st Christmas tree is well... not cute! Here are some picture for you to enjoy... We have been pretty busy &we are headed to Disney this weekend to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party & the parks & I am taking Monday off work!!!! Can't wait for a real family vacation! :)

♥1st Shots..... :'(♥

Our little miss got her 1st shots today. :( Thank God mommy had to work & daddy was so nice & took her because I would have probably cried more than her. She got 4 shots & 1 oral vaccine. Poor baby! The worst part of not being there was that Nick sent me a picture of her all happy before her shots & a picture of her crying after her shots.... I almost cried from that picture. :(
On to the better part of her doctor visit... She weighs 11lbs. 1 oz. & is 24 inches long! The pediatrician said that she is the length of a 4 month old. We have a tall little girl on our hands.. I guess that is why her footy pjs dont fit her. :)

2 Month Milestones:

• She slept through the night 4 nights in a row right before her 2 month birthday!
• She smiles a ton!! It is the best thing ever!
• She talks to us... lots of "ohhhs".
• Her newest kick is that she tries to sit up in her car seat like she is trying to grab her feet. I don't think she realizes that she is buckled in. ;)
• She drinks 4 oz. at a feeding and eats about every 2 or 3 hours.
• No more newborn diapers, it's on to size 1 diapers. The newborns were too tight on her cute butt!
• She is sleeping at night finally in her bassinet... still in our room though.
• She loves her swing & floor gym, and is getting to alert & active to just sit & nap in her little lamb bouncy seat.
