Christmas fun!
oh, elfie…
{december 1st}
elfie showed up at our kitchen table with a north pole breakfast planned just for the 4 of us & brought gifts & letters for the girls!
{december 2nd}
elfie came back from the north pole & was sitting in the christmas garland by the tv…
{december 3rd}
elfie was hiding in mollie’s stocking!
{december 4th}
we found elfie hanging on out christmas card ribbon, waiting for us to get some christmas cards in the mail!
{december 5th}
elfie spent time visiting our advent village…
{december 6th}
elfie hung out with his gingerbread girlfriend & also brought a special gift for mollie & mia from the north pole! elfie brought mollie & mia three books to read at night… “rudolph”, “the night before christmas” & “the christmas story”
{december 7th}
elfie didn’t fly back to the north pole last night to tell santa how good mollie & mia were because mollie had a bad night of not listening to mommy…
{december 8th}
we found that sneaky elfie on top of the light in the living room!
{december 9th}
elfie was making sure that we had out a sign to remind Santa to stop at our home on christmas eve when he is flying in his sleigh…
{december 10th}
it took us a while to find our friend, elfie, but eventually mollie found him & he was sitting on a branch in our christmas tree! he had the perfect view to see how mollie & mia were behaving!
{december 11th}
elfie knows that mollie has been watching a lot of dora the explorer’s “noche bueno” & the bubble guppies’ “merry christmas, mr. grumpfish”, so he picked this spot to keep an eye on her…
{december 12th}
if elfie didn’t leave his ice skates in the north pole then he could ice skate with mollie’s favorite christmas decoration this year, the ice skating snowmen!
{december 12th & 13th}
elfie sure does have some great magic, because we aren’t sure how he made it all the way to the top of our christmas tree! although, we hope he was comfy because he didn’t get to fly back to the north pole that night because mollie’s behavior wasn’t so great…
{december 14th}
elfie was as excited as we were & wanted to count down the days until santa comes!
{december 15th}
on december 15th, mollie & mia wrote out their letters to santa & he took them back to the north pole with him that night!
{december 16th}
elfie wanted to make sure that we mailed a christmas card to his mailbox in the north pole!
{december 17th}
it’s a good thing there wasn’t a candle in this or his little tush would have been a little warm!
{december 18th}
we received a lot of christmas cards this year, we think this was elfie’s favorite card!
{december 19th & 20th}
we think that elfie missed the snowflakes that are in the north pole since it was very hot out this late in december… & unfortunately he didn’t get to go back to the north pole this night either…
{december 21st}
eflie wanted to see what was going on in the stable!

he’s back up on the tv! he must know that we love to watch christmas movies!!

we were so excited about santa coming tomorrow, we forgot to take a picture of him…
{december 25th}
elfie was suppose to stay in the north pole when he flew back on christmas eve but we think he was just so excited to see how much mollie & mia enjoyed their gifts from santa & he wanted to see how mia enjoyed her 1st christmas!!
we had so much fun with elfie, during the month of december! mollie loved waking up in the morning to find where that sneaky, silly, little elf, elfie was hidding! the first week or two we would ask her when she got up where elfie was & we would “help” her look for him but then suddenly she would look for him on her own & once she found him she would just crack up laughing & would say “elfie funny, he so silly!” & then mia, well, she slept through most the fun! ha!! we hope that elfie comes back to visit us next year!! we miss him already!!
mia’s 1 month old!!
mia’s one month old today! let’s see, you are out of newborn diapers & moved on to size 1 diapers although they are kinda big on you.
you still fit in newborn clothes, everything else seems so big on you!
you LOVE to eat & I think you would & could eat ALL DAY LONG, if I let you. we started giving you formula once in a while when you were three weeks old, to get you ready for when I return to work & you took it with no problem! you eat about 3 to 4 oz a feeding. you like to eat every 2 to 3 hours.
hmmm… sleep, you love to sleep during the day, except at night around 8:30/9 when you have a fussy period & you just cry & cry… and then you finally fall back asleep after about an hour of fussy/crying & then well, the night time is just a mess! you either go two hours & need to eat or your up every hour. living off 3 or 4 hours of sleep is not great for your mommy & daddy {mostly mommy though}
most of all, we all just LOVE you so much!!
Santa Clause
we did a lot of prepping with mollie about santa a few days before we went to see him…
you see mollie doesn’t like men, or strangers & last year she cried & nick had to practically hold her down & sit next to santa & still she wasn’t happy!
so this year we told her about how santa brings you presents but first you have to tell him what you want, so she said to us “I want toys, dora, dollies” & told that she would tell santa…
well we walked up to santa & she clinged to me & wouldn’t let go, so needless to say, I was in the santa picture this year.
after santa gave her the ball for visiting she was all about hugging him good bye !
as for mia, she had no problems with santa!
our first north pole breakfast…

we had snow covered donuts & reindeer kisses & he brought mollie a book about him, an advent chocolate calendar & a santa cup!
elfie also brought mollie & mia letters that he wrote for them while he was in the north pole!
